Small Bore Rifle

The .22 small-bore matches are for those members who have that old .22 sitting in the safe, and not being used.

Well, dust it off, give it a clean and come down and shoot a match and test yourself. The match is shot on the third Sunday of the month, in the cool of the morning. Roll up at 8:30am ready to start at 9:00am.

The match is shot on range 6 at the 50m mark.

Four-Position Small-Bore Match:

  • 10 rounds from the prone position.

  • 10 rounds from the sitting position.
  •
10 rounds standing, unsupported.

  • 10 rounds standing, right-hand barricade supported

40 rounds in total, plus what you may use on sighters. It is a light-hearted match, and a chance to get your eye in with a rifle.
